Flannel Pillowcases

It's starting to get a little chilly here in the northwest and I'm noticing that when we get ready for bed our pillows are that lovely "icy" cold temperature. For my 6 month old, this is a guaranteed "lets wake up and play" moment and one I'd like to avoid.

So, I thought I'd take MADE's pillowcase tutorial and make my kids some flannel pillowcases. I took my daughter with me to the fabric store and she picked out all the fabrics. I have to say, this was hard for me to let her do, but also super fun to see her personality emerge in what she chose and also because she really enjoyed herself.

Isn't my baby cute on her new pillowcase? Aww....

I told my daughter to pose for me and this is what I got...

....which prompted my other daughter to give me this pose....looks like these pillowcases totally work! This is the daughter who picked out the fabrics. I think it was a successful job!
