The Metabolic Effect

Ugh. Er. Yech. 

Yeah, I started a diet a few weeks ago. 

Dieting is not fun.

But, I'm actually seeing results with this diet, so I'm sticking with it. It's a 30 day diet and exercise program. I'm eating a lot of things I've never tried before like...


 and... 


and this...

Almond flour muffins

and drinking this.... all day long! 


I've also been eating about a jagillion cups of this...

I'm about 1/3 of the way in and can I just say, I miss bread. I, Megan, am a carb junkie. The first week was hard because I had to give up this...

...or as my on-line trainer likes to say "detox" myself from that. It's toxic, folks.

Trainer-lady also sends me online workouts that leave me feeling like this....

Except with more sweat and not as pretty. But, I'm motivated because if I keep it up, I'll look like this...

  2. Oh yes, I know all too well what you're talking about. I don't do protein shakes & can't stand anything other than real sugar (but eat it very sparingly) but I eat salads with tofu, beans or chicken every day, with tons of vegetables. I exercise everyday (during the week) & hope for the best.
