Coolest Hair Dresser Ever

Every time I go to Amarillo, I go to my mom's amazing hair dresser and get my hair cut.

Yes, I travel 1,000 miles for a hair cut.

Ok, that's not the only reason, but it's a big one. Heaven forbid my family ever move away from there.....

Anyway, my hair dresser recently moved offices and I wanted to share some of her amazingness...

Check out this harlequin wall she painted....

At each corner she added a little brad....I love this attention to detail!

I call this her funky frame wall. She found these frames at various discount locations and painted them bright, happy colors. I love 'em.

She also hand-paints her armoires (how come the word armoire isn't in spell check??) and desks these bright colors and it's so fun. Her waiting room is geared for kids with kid friendly movies, squashy couches and books, so they have something fun to do while mom gets beautified. And, she's the only one in this space, so there's plenty of room for guests and talk.

All in all, it makes for a very fun atmosphere for a haircut. Once you walk in, your instant friends. It's like a social hour for everyone and you leave feeling awesome with a great new haircut.

What do you guys do for a great haircut?
