Make Your Own Tree Ghosts

We love putting spooky ghosts and other decorations in our big tree in the front yard. We decorate it for pretty much every occasion. The kids were super excited to hang up the ghosts we put up every year except---this year they disappeared! I think ghosts are meant to do that. They have go haunt someone else every once in awhile. Anyway, the kids were super disappointed, so I thought we could try and make our own ghosts this year.

I grabbed a garbage bag and cut off the tie....

...and then cut some squiggly lines for the bottom of the ghosts....

...grabbed some cheap tissue paper for filler, my yarn and twist ties and got to work! We cute up the bag into 6" square sections, stuffed the paper in the middle...

We had fun making different ghost faces.

We used the twist ties to secure the tissue paper and strung the yarn through to make a nice loop to hang the ghosts.

Ta-da! Instant scary ghosts or your tree!

We even added these little pumpkins we still had from last year. Our tree is very slow and refuses to lose its leaves...

Even though our neighbors trees are totally into the fall season. We have a stubborn tree.

Enjoy your fall days!
