Everything but the Kitchen Sink and FEATURES

Hey everyone! I'm so sorry I have slacked on features the last couple of weeks. I've been sick and trying to schedule the parties from my iPad and it's a little frustrating to do features from that thing! Although, that is no excuse! Not at all! I'm so very sorry. I will make it up...right now!

Our first feature is awesome. I love her textile work and she never disappoints. Her use of interesting fabrics and patterns just amaze me and I love it! Check out Beyond the Screen Door and the double ruffle pillows! Gorgeous!

Our next amazing transformation is from Pressed Down, Shaken Together. She takes her creativity to the work place and completely transforms her desk with a myriad of her own creations. It's just amazing all she was able to cram into her cubicle! I love it.
Now, I take you to Shabby Loco who made some awesome coffee filter wreath balls. I love the idea she suggests to use them for a garland! And check out that antique desk! LOVE!
This basinett make-over is just adorable and Larissa Hill Designs has made a masterpiece! I love the linen and the pop of green. It's just so cute and I can see a baby happily sleeping away it's first few months of life in the new bed!
Need some storage? Domestic Imperfections decided she was tired of tripping over toys and instead of getting those plastic bins, she and her hubs made this gorgeous toy box that will sure to be a family heirloom. It's so bright and cheery and the perfect level for little toddlers to help put their toys away! (Oh, if we could only train them so young!)
So gals, don't forget to grab a "featured" button!

A Little Knick Knack

We have been enjoying sending my oldest off on her first week of school this week. We start pretty late in comparison to everyone else in the nation (right after Labor Day), so it's been a week of "firsts" for us! First time in public school, first time to ride a bus! It's been so fun and I think we are finally ready to deal with the school year!

This week's question:

How did the first week/month of school go for you???

And, for those who are here for the party, have fun!

  1. Would you believe I have had THREE first weeks of school? One for jr. high, one for elementary, and one for preschool. Thankfully, all have gone well--I've only forgotten to pick the kids up once!

  2. We have had a great beginning to the school year. My kiddos are finally in the same school again so that's been nice.
Thank you so much for the feature! Hope you're ok with more pillows from me!

  6. It's hard to be superwoman when you're sick, isn't it, Meg? Since you're showing "features" I'm hoping that means you're on the mend. ;)

    Thanks for hosting!
