Teacher Appreciation - Wire Frames

Well, the end of the school year is upon us. I know, a little early, right?

My preschooler just graduated.

I woke up in a panic the morning of because I had no gift for the teachers. How do I let these things slip my mind until, literally, the hour before??

I decided to make them some wire frames.

Luckily, I had all the supplies on hand to make these cute little frames.

I painted the frames a lovely sky blue (2 coats).

Then I used my 100 grit sandpaper to distress the corners and edges.

I took my silver floral wire and hot glued them to the back of the frame, zig-zagging across the front...

I had these cute mini-clothes pins and used them to hang our little cards on...

On the back, my daughter wrote, "thank you! Love, ____" (Hey, she's in preschool...that's like a milestone for us. :)

All in all, a pretty good last minute gift for my poor, poor memory! I hope the teachers like it! Thank you, teachers for putting up with my dear little girl all year long!

  1. That is the cutest idea ever....I've never seen anything like it! I might try a big version or my daughter's room. Thank you!
