I debated for awhile what my next little sign should say...."lemonade," "market," "bienvenue...." I liked them all, but I settled on...
I just liked the saying....I painted the sign a burgundy red, let it dry...
...then painted it a nice robin's egg blue.
I used my good ole Wordperfect to print the phrase and trace it on the sign.
After I put on a couple of coats of pure white, I sanded it down. It looked really fresh still, and I wanted the old look, so I rubbed on some walnut stain.
And it created that aged look perfectly!
Fresh Eggs anyone?

I love the way you achieved a nice aged quality with your sign. It looks perfect!
