Hello lovely friends of blogland!
I need to apologize. I've been remiss.
I have hosted Everything but the Kitchen Sink for awhile now....and I rarely feature anyone (just lack of time. Not for lack of trying!)
And that's a real shame
Because there are so many wonderful, creative and inspiring things being linked up each week.
And I know we don't all have the time to visit every person's link.
But, I can share a few that inspired me...and hope that in turn, it inspires you, too.
Inspiration is everywhere.
Let's go find some.
Be sure to grab an I've been featured button....here you go!
Too Much Time on My Hands show's us her first attempt at stripping furniture. I think it turned out quite well....don't you?
Ok, you may need to sit down for this. Check out these awesome book shelves...are you ready for it? These are SPICE RACKS from Ikea. I know! Check out The Inspiration Thief for more details.
Vintage Skye shows us what can be done with a little paint and a lovely quote. I love how you can turn normal objects into things of art and beauty.
This yummy goodness is a chocolate cake. Oh wait, I forgot the best part--a FAT FREE CHOCOLATE CAKE. Yes, It's true. Pumpkin Pie Painter shares with us the secret to a delicious fat free chocolate goodness. She also adds some wonderful tips in there to add fat, in case you want to go that route. I'll try both, I think. Yum!
Easypeasy Grandma shares with us how to add some fun spring touches to our home as well as make an incredible gathered runner. So beautiful!
Look at this cutie! Don't you love this dress! Cami, from Tidbits of my Crafty Side, calls this "business in the front--party in the back." And that's the perfect description! She made this fun dress from t-shirt scraps. I know! I love it!
Jenny from Cinnaberry Suite created a lovely solution to never lose her keys again. EVER. I love her use of horseshoe nails for the key rings and the way she displayed her children's pics is truly unique. Check it out!
This is fun in action. Julie from Less-than-Perfect-Life-of-Bliss created this shabby ruffle skirt. Perfect for us beginner sewers. I am definitely trying this! Look how much fun my girls would have in this! Tons-o-fun.
Again, Kim at Too Much Time on my Hands (really? Can I give you some of my laundry? Ha! I kid...kinda...) made this beautiful canvas print with a tissue paper finish...and a lovely quote. It seriously made my eyes water. I must be really tired...yeah, that's it. Go check out her mad skills.
And finally, you all have to check this out. Brooke from 20 Something find an economical solution to her laminate counter-tops. PAINT! She dove in there and made something spectacular with some paint, toothbrushes and determination. I'm so impressed! She is brave--and successful. It's an amazing transformation!
I hope you all enjoyed this little tour through EBTKS. Remember to link up again this week! Have a great night!
