Hope ya'll are having a great weekend! Ours was lazy, lazy, lazy.
We deserve one of those every once in awhile, right?
So, I've been doing a lot of canvas projects lately. I had a TON of canvas! I made 4 pillow covers, 2 table runners and still have some left over.
So, I decided to make a case for my sunglasses. See, here in the frigid north, you have to keep your sunglasses in your purse, because if you keep them in the car, they get all foggy when you put them on and you have to wait for the air to warm up before the fog goes away.
And does it ever warm up?
So...this took me forever to figure out and I'm a thousand times sure there is an easier way to go about this, so I won't post a tutorial.
I took my Stayz-on ink and used my rubber stamps to print the obvious.
Like my draw-string? It's the hem from the original canvas. Hey, one less step for me, right?
I even lined the inside with some brown fleece. Don't want my nifty glass to get scratched now, do I?
So far, it's working out great! I love my canvas sunglass case!
