Devine Color

A little while ago I was contacted by a person who wanted me to promote a new paint company called Devine Color. Well, of course! I love paint! I paint everything. But...I like to try the product before promoting anything. I mean, I can't promote something I have never experienced, right?

Devine Color is a premium paint collection developed by entrepreneur and color expert, Gretchen Schauffler. Gretchen started Devine Color out of her Portland-area home. With a feminine perspective, she’s now launching the company nationwide and bringing her unique services - such as her virtual room service -  products, like the "trend-proof" paint palettes, and tools to the paint industry.

So, Devine Color was gracious enough to send me some of their paint samples. And...I fell in love. They also gave me the go-ahead to offer you guys an amazing product for a giveaway, but more on that later.

I was pretty excited to get the box containing my paint samples. It was like an extra Christmas present for little ole me.

Their samples come in different forms (the finger-daubbed paint palettes, with actual paint instead of inaccurate paint chips) and these handy little paint pouches.

I received three lovely and bold paint samples. (Devine Swell, Devine Cocoa, and Devine Cayenne).

They have a re-sealable top, so you can simple snap the edges together and save your samples for any room, any time.

I decided to test out the samples on my purple bathroom (which is getting a little face-lift right now). I figured this would give me the motivation to get rid of that awful purple color.

I loved the Devine Swell (the middle) the best, but it's hard to see on the dark purple.

My girls enjoyed the "pink," i.e. the Devine Cayenne.

And I think the Devine Cocoa won my heart in the end.

I loved how they described their paint..."paint that goes on like rich yogurt." So true! I think one coat would definitely cover this dark purple in my bathroom.

So, now I can say I endorse Devine Color  whole-heartedly! Stay tuned for an awesome giveaway from this unique paint company!

  1. That sounds like a good product. Good review.

  2. I love this paint and seriously wouldn't use any other . Don't be fooled into thinking she doesn't offer enough colors-- you don't need the 4 million choices the home improvement stores provide!!! Gretchen's colors work!!! I love paint too and there is no way I could limit the colors in my house. LOL You would be surprised at the number I used. I used Swell and Spray in dining room/kitchen area with Cayenne on soffits. Icing on trim and Custard on ceiling. And some Gecko accents... First fell in love with this paint in WA, now in NY I have to order online.

  3. Woohoo! Awesome colors! I love the ceyanne too, but I think you made the right choice for the bathroom =)

I would love to hear from you!
