A Good Cause: Project 320 & Giveaway

Christmas is such a wonderful time of year. It's a time to enjoy kindness from those around you. Complete strangers suddenly seem like friends. It's a time to give and receive. It's a time to remember that we are so fortunate in our everyday lives. We have homes, freedom, family, food. We have our basic needs provided for---light at night, warm clothes, and, the most basic thing of all, water.

It's hard to imagine life without water. Imagine going to a river to wash our clothes. Walking for miles to get our daily drinking and cooking water. How do people do this? They have an inner strength and courage I cannot fathom. We are so fortunate....lets help those that aren't.

My dear blog friend, Tina, from Twinkle Toes Boutique contacted me and informed me of a wonderful project she is participating in over at Project 320. Let's hear it in her own words:

I’m so happy to team up with the girls over at Project 320 for this year’s Giveaway Week.  All the money raised will go to charity:water to build a well to bring fresh, clean water to people that really need it.
Up for grabs is one of my custom order pillowcase dresses, matching heart-shaped hair clip and a $15 itunes gift card.

The dress and hair clip will be custom made in the winner’s choice of colors, not limited to what is show above. Size newborn to girls 6.
To enter, make a $10 donation over at the Project 320 well page.  Then hop back over to my blog, Twinkle Toes Boutique, and leave me a comment, including your email address.  Winner will be chosen on December 20.
Your donation is a wonderful way to help a mom in Africa bring clean, healthy water to her family.

Such a wonderful opportunity to be part of something great. $10 is (for me) one lunch at McDonald's I can do without this week! Let's help someone get something special for Christmas this year. The gift of water! Click on any of the links to support Tina in her endeavor to give a woman the basic necessity of all.

Merry Christmas, everyone!
