Ribbon Belts with D-Ring

Howdy!
I hope you guys are checking out the Rhonda Michaels necklace giveaway going on now! Open until Nov. 14!

This is a super easy project. SUPER EASY. Check out the discount ribbon at your local fabric stores (grosgrain works best) and pick up some D Rings at the same store. Come home and sew, sew, sew! I thought this is a fun project for your kids, but my friend is going to whip some up for herself as well!

Adding fun flowers or other embellishments makes it all the more unique and fun.

 (Like the little tummy showing?)

I'm even attempting to make a couple for my son. He is a little on the skinny side so his pants are usually rolled up to accommodate the extra fabric.  Now, he can walk around with a snazzy belt instead of high-waters! He's cool like that.

So, if you're kids are a little on the skinny side and need some help keeping their pants up, or just want to add a fun accessory to an outfit--try this simple project! You'll be done in about 5 minutes and the possibilities are endless!

Have fun!

  1. They are so pretty! Perfect for dressing up a black top or dress. A different belt=a different outfit!

  3. I've made these too and they're so easy! I love that they're so thin so you can wear one under a tight shirt and it doesn't have a huge bulge where the belt is.

  4. I can't believe you made the belts already!! I haven't even touched my ribbon... but I did make a bunch of cute skirts for the girls out of old t-shirts! I guess now they just need these cute belts to go with them...
