Chalkboard Frame

This is a fun and easy project that any of you can do in a few minutes. Simply find an old frame, paint the sides (I used metallic pearl white, mixed with an antiquing agent)...

spray the glass with chalkboard paint and ta-da!

Instant decoration for any season. I would love to make a larger version of this for my kitchen, but I am a cheap skate and am waiting for the perfect cheap frame!

  1. Meg, I love framed chalkboards. I have one large one that I recently did. It takes a while to find that perfect inexpensive large frame!

  3. I'm dying to take that chalkboard paint to my kids room but my son has asthma so its not ideal, but the small board is a great idea! We are redoing our dining room/entry way and I might have to slip one in there.

  5. It's great, Meg! I have a really large mirror done using the chalkboard paint. I'll have to post about it someday.

Thanks for linking to my party. It's fun to see what you link up each week.
