Shout-outs for September 16 EBTKS

Hello Readers!

I love to showcase fun projects from my weekly Everything but the Kitchen Sink parties. I LOVE it! Last week, though, my showcasing post got away from me! I don't know where my head was, but it forgot to leave fun compliments to all the people that participated as well as showcase a few that caught my eye. For that, I'm SO sorry! I hope you know that I stop by each and every post that is added to my little link party and usually I have time to comment, but sometimes, I only have time to look in awe at the creative genius out there. Really, you guys just amaze me sometimes! So, thanks for linking up, dear readers! I love it!

As promised, here are the highlights from Everything but the Kitchen Sink on September 16.....

Gotta have something spooky with Halloween around the corner. Why not try this amazing home-made bones to scatter around your house for an extra spooky effect? You won't believe how easy these are to make! Stop by Annie Rose's House for the tutorial!

Next we have some easy and elegant solutions for home organizing at Make the Best of Things. Can you believe this box once held fire logs? And that it was covered with an old Thesaurus? And that she managed to make 18 of these boxes in 1 afternoon? Amazing! Check it out!

And I know we've seen a lot of butterfly art floating out there in the blog universe, but these delicate mini butterflies just caught my eye....maybe it was the cute matte and frames surrounding the butterfly....maybe it was the fun stenciled words underneath each butterfly....whatever it was, I love what Sarah from Cozy.Cottage.Cute did to make these butterflies! Go check out her process!

After completing my own bathroom re-vamp, I was amazed to see what At Home with K accomplished with hers as well! Everything was a thrifty find or some other money-saving method and look how gorgeous her color scheme is! I love this bathroom and if I could somehow transport it into my own home, I would! Great job!

And for our last showcase of the day, I have to turn you to It's Just My Imagination and her fun re-do of her dining room table and chairs! This woman can paint with the best of them! I love the bright colors she chose and the creamy table is just dreamy. (I know....I tried, ok?)
So, go check out the rest of her fun blog!
