Another CSN Store GIVEAWAY!

Hello dear readers!

I have a special giveaway for you this month!

But first a question. Do you have things that bring back fun childhood memories for you? Maybe a book. Or a place. Or a picture of some kind. Maybe it's simple like a smell. Or a flash of color. Or looking at your kids and seeing them do something you enjoyed as a child. Maybe it was a favorite meal. There are lots of things in our lives that bring back memorable moments of our childhood.

This is kind of silly, but for me, one of those things is the dishes my mother used! I know! I'm kind of a nerd. But, still....she used these white Corelle dinner plates with green leafing on the edges.


I loved them because they were super light for my little kid hands and they never broke! Lots of good times and meals were shared on those plates!

Now, it's time for me to create some memories with my children. And...I've decided to get some Corelle dinnerware! Corelle has really changed since I was a kid. It's no longer plain white and green leafing. Now, there are all kinds of options in color, pattern as well as shape! It's awesome. So many choices!! Which one should I choose?

  3. Ooooh, I love the coastal breeze set and the paisley! I have fond memories of Corelle dishes too, my grandmother had them {from as long as I can remember} but they were the white with pukey yellow pattern!

  7. I like the Hearthstone in Eco Honesty. I like square dishes. Right now I am using corelle that was given to my husband's parents as a wedding gift. They've been divorced nearly 30 years, so you know those dishes can last a long time. But I would love to update my dishes with a pattern from this century. I hope I win!

  35. Funny, I've been thinking about the Corelle dishes we had growing up recently. My six yo nephew makes me very nervous around my dishes and something unbreakable would be perfect!

    isn't it funny how we remember the dishes we ate on as kids, and the silverware we used. My sister and I used to fight over a certain fork... she got the fork from my mom... I wonder if she STILL has that fork. I think I might snatch it from her the next time I'm there. Sounds like a good plan!

  66. Just found your blog, thanks for the awesome giveaway. I too love the durabilty of the corelle dishes and you're right the designs have come a long way. I'm looking for something basic that I could use in any tablescape so I prefer the Corelle Square Pure White Set.

  67. shut the front door! that green ivy plates are the exact set my grandmother gave me when i moved into my first apt after high school and guess what... I STILL have them 15 years later! I guess now would be a great time to update and I would have to get the Hearthstone collection in shale.

  77. Corelle has come a long way! I remember my mom's Corelle and my grandma's set too, thanks for bringing back the memories. :)

    I'd have to choose the Hearthstone 16-Piece Dinnerware Set in Shale. It's so different from what I currently have (plain white, basketweave detail), but I think the two would look really awesome together.
