Isn't it neat??? (I'll stop right there, because, we all know to what I am referring....love me some Little Mermaid! ;)
Anyway, I just got back from my week in Texas and I just want to thank all of my guest bloggers for helping me out while I was gone! I thoroughly enjoyed your posts and sharing your talents and I hope you enjoyed doing so as well!
While I was in the great state of Texas, we splurged and got a babysitter for the kids one afternoon and the moms went....shopping. Ah, it was lovely. Amarillo has a wonderful street called 6th Street, which is part of the historic Route 66. It has lovely antique shop and quaint eateries and we enjoyed some yummy food and browsing while we were there.
We also went to a couple of other specialty stores, and here are some of the gems I found and just drooled over....(sadly, these pics were taken with my phone and my phone is going all wonky on me and I can't download about 2/3 of the pics. Once I figure it out, I'll download more of the lovely items I want to re-create or just buy!)
But, of course, I couldn't leave without purchasing some gems for my own home.
And, I had, had, HAD to check out Hobby Lobby, the best craft store of all time. I wish we had one close to me! Oh, how I wish!!! Here's what I got there...not a whole lot, mind you, because I didn't have a specific project in mind AND I didn't want to freak out the hubby by bringing home a van load of goods.
Who knows what I will do with these lovely knick knacks? It's all out there, ready to be discovered and turned into something wonderful! I can't wait to figure out what that wonderful is!
Have a great day!
p.s. check out my side bar for the fun link parties I enjoy participating in!
