Friendly Feature

I know it's not an "F" day, like Friday, but's time for a Friendly Feature! And, today I'd like to feature another sister (I have more than fact, I have two). My sister, Sara, is living it up in the Big City that is New York. She has been there for a couple of years now and I think we can officially call her a New Yorker. She's been applying to grad schools in Colorado and....London of all places, and found out she has been accepted to both! Yeah!

My sister doesn't really craft, but she is an artist! She draws amazingly well and takes awesome photographs. She also has the gift of acting and of writing plays. One of her plays was actually produced on TV! I mean, she's on imdb! Awesome. I'm sister to a famous person! And, did I mention she is a yoga guru? Well, it's true. She can twist and turn with the best of them. Here's her blog: The Happenings. Check it out!

When I turned 30, I got depressed. It's not fun to turn 30, people! At least, it wasn't fun for me! So, to cheer myself up, my mom and I went on a little girls trip to New York for a weekend! We had an awesome time with Sara and she showed us all of her "spots" to hang out. It was a wonderful weekend and I had such a fun time!

Doesn't she look like fun? Well, she is! And, I think we look a bit's a good thing! Love you, Sar!

  1. What a lovely post. I am NOT looking forward to turning 30. I just realized the other day that I'm closer to 30 than 20. So I've decided I'm Forever25. Seriously!

    God Bless

  2. Hi Meg...Yes you do look alike and the post is precious. By the way, how about turning into the 50's...You better be smiling from ear to ear that your number is not as high as mine!!! Anyway, eeek! That picture with her hanging thru the fence and out over the water!!!

    Many smiles, Karen

I would love to hear from you!
