Friendly Feature

Remember this? I started up a Friendly Feature a little while ago....and then promptly forgot about it! Oops! So, I'd like to start it up again. I'm seeing so many of my friends and family do wonderful and creative things and no one gets to see it! So, I'm going to show off for them, if I may! ;)

Today I would like to feature my sister, Erin. (Below)

She is younger than me (I forget by how many years....it's not that many....right, Er?) and mom to one girl with another on the way. She is fabulously creative and does things that I just want to try but have no idea how to execute!

The other day, she emailed me a picture of this:

Turned into this:

Isn't it great? She saw something like it online and then proceeded to make it. Just like that. Wow! Erin is a great sister, a wonderful friend, and a fantastic mother. Oh, and a great crafter! I love you, Er!

  2. She reminds me of my sister-in-law. While I see lots of things that I would LIKE to try, she actually sees things, goes straight to the fabric store and then COMPLETES the project. Love the purse - very creative and CUTE!

  5. Thanks for the love sis!! I think your pretty freakin awesome yourself!!!! I totally stole this idea from a blog called the pleated poppy...there is a tutorial there for how to make the ruffle. I just kinda played around with the fabric until it looked like a flower...close enough! I LOVE YOU SIS!!!!
