A Few More Thrifty Finds

Hello All! Thank you, for all your moral support in my failed lamp project! I will prevail, though! I am determined! I even found the last bottle of ORB at Wal-Mart, stashed behind a case of Pistachio. They thought they could hide it from me! Ha! I showed them. :)

Anyway, I had a fun little outing at the thrift store last week. I had two of my kiddos with me, so we got in and out rather quickly. I always end up buying the kids something when they are thrifting with me. They want so little, you know? Anything makes them happy! I love my kiddos.

My daughter found these lovely mini watering cans. She chose the bright green one in the background. I don't think we'll change that one at all! The one in front, we might have to beautify for my oldest daughter. It's just not as fun to use if it's not purdied up a bit!

First, I found this lovely little lantern. Remember this one? Well, I think I might start a little lantern collection. I think they are so charming!

Found this cute little urn-thingy. I'm thinking I might plant some herbs in it? Or maybe use it as a display of some sort. Time will tell what this beauty will be used for! I will let you know!

Isn't this a cute pedestal? I'm thinking of using it in my family room to help me display some of my many knick knacks! Fun stuff.

Friends, this is a burlap lampshade! Truly! Burlap! Already on a lampshade! Now, I just need a lamp to put it on!

Fun little candle holder thingy...

....and finally, some hooks! Do you guys know how much large hooks cost?!? I'll tell you---TOO MUCH! I'm serious, they are charging you an arm and a leg for these things. I have big plans for these hooks! I'm excited to take this apart and make something else equally if not more appealing! Stay tuned...

Also, I am working on this....

...and have started doing this....

...to make it all nice a new. I'm excited to show it off soon!

It needs a little TLC. This rocking chair is a lovely gift from my mother. I remember it from childhood since before forever, so I'll have to get the back story on this!
