Baby, baby, baby

My life has been full of babies. Not only did I manage to have 3 babies in 3 years (didn't think it could be done? Yeah, well, you're wrong!), but much of my family has been expanding in numbers right there along with me.

Before Christmas, my brother-in-law's family welcomed a cute little boy into the world....and in March, my sister-in-law's family welcomed another little boy into the world! Awesome. Well, I had to do something for those little ones! I discovered the...

Wonderful World of Applique!

Such an easy way to make a unique gift for a baby!

So, I began with these:

And turned them into these:

And mailed them like so....

(Sorry for the crappy pics, they were taken with my camera phone)

Well, fast forward to now and my brother's wife (remember THIS post?) is due any second and my sister is due this summer. More babies?!? No problem! Bring on the applique!

So, I began with these:

Added some fun iron-on appliques, Wonder-Under and embroidery floss...

And made these!

(I cut this image from one of my sons old PJ's)

(It says AB/CD. Here's a hint: anyone ever hear of the band AC/DC? Ok, my brother is a big rocker....maybe not that big, but he'll get the joke...I hope).

(On the bums!)

(A guitar, in case you couldn't tell by this lousy shot).

So, fun and easy. I'm putting together fun little care packages for the new moms and babies. Can't wait to meet all these little guys! (And one girl)!
