Mini Chalkboards - Day 4 of The Great Kid Week

I found these cute mini clip boardsat Michael's for $1.99 each. I thought, why not? I have seen some cute clip board projects and with my traveling brood, anything portable is a plus with me. So, I snagged three of them, as well as some running wild children, and brought them home to do some damage!

Well, my chalkboard project HERE, inspired me to try some mini chalkboards.

First, I taped up the clip with plain old masking tape.

Then, I sprayed a couple coats of chalkboard paint over them.

After they dried, I got to work!

I used my trusty paint pen to put a little initial at the bottom of each fighting over these in my house!

And, I used different ribbons (I have one daughter who loves pink, and another daughter who loathes to watch their little personalities emerge!), to keep the chalk attached to the board.

I also hot glued some little pouches on the back (felt comes in handy at all times)...

...and I hot glued some velcro attachments to their "erasers" and the board so we wouldn't lose them.

I'm excited for the kids to wake up and see their little "surprise" for the day!
