For My Sister

Remember this project? Well, after I finished it up, I still had two chair legs left to do something with. I was talking to my sister about it, and she suggested I try this little project.

So, I tore the chair apart once more....

Painted....

Sanded and glued....

And this is what I came up with!

Hope you like it, Erin!

  1. Adorable! I have some spindles from a Jenny Lind crib, and now I know what to do with them!

  2. Hi Meg,
I'm not sure how exactly to reply to the comment you left on my blog (see, I'm not technical, either!) but I knew you'd see this, so I'm going to post it here. :)

I use a software program from Creative Memories to make those silhouettes. It's really easy to use, but if you've never seen it before, my instructions probably sounded crazy! Sorry!

Let me know if you are interested in learning more about it (and we do have classes!)

  3. Oh, you have the best ideas. I love this towel holder and your book wreath. The flower bucket re-do is wonderful. I enjoyed my visit...hugs, Linda

  4. I don't know about that tp holder. Looks a little too... phallic. It would fall in the same category as Mom's special candles from Santa Fe ;)
